My power boats all come from the local power boat dealers. The after-sale service they provide, warranty and a fair price, always win over some backyard deals.
Just recently, I bought Manta Ray 30 feet with Mercury 400HP twin engines, with only 240 hours on the clock, for a mere $130,000. Great price, considering that this quality of a power boat goes for $240,000 and more, new.
But, before entering any dealership, try to find out about their reputation, from the local boating clubs and enthusiasts. It can save you from wasting money on dodgy deals.
