Spring is near, and patios become the subject of talk for home owners and gardeners. The first group wants to enhance the living area of their home with undercover patio.
The second group, wants a more protected/sheltered space to grow their pot plants.
People who currently have patio a part of their home know how useful this area can be. Protected from sun and rain, owners can relax in the outdoors, close to nature. And whilst having a deck is convenient too, only patio gives the benefits of a great addition that everybody who considers home improvement an important activity, cannot ignore.
Consider value of your house...
Adding an expensive extension to it will no doubts add significantly to how house is valued. But, for a relatively low cost of a few thousands ($7,000-13,000)you'll enjoy a far better increase in the valuation of your abode.

In 2008, patios are on average much cheapper than in previous years. Why? because hardly anyone has any money left, with the credit squeeze going on, and people losing their jobs.
I was going to buy a kit metal patio, and get it erected by a professional builder. But, what they've quoted me for the job was outside of my budget.
What I did, was buying a used patio, dismantling it using some friends, who also helped me to put it back together in my garden. I saved at least $2,500 on the cost of 20ft by 30ft patio. And it looks like brand new!
